This website from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention includes information on the latest obesity research and the health and economic impacts of the nation’s obesity epidemic. It also has basic information about obesity, and what can be done.

The County Health Rankings project collects health outcomes information from many government sources. Adult obesity data on the County Health Rankings site were estimated using several years of data from the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. The current adult obesity data reported for our communities are:
